Mallorcan food, at its best, is Mediterranean cooking with the island's own accent: the lamb, the fish, the herbs, the wine — all close to where you sit. At La Posada we keep it that way, and finish it over the wood-fired grill.
Built on local produce
Good Mediterranean cooking begins at the market, not the stove. We lean on the island for what we serve — fresh Mallorcan produce and island lamb wherever the season allows — and let the ingredients lead. The result is food that tastes of Valldemossa and the Serra de Tramuntana around it.
From the grill to the table
Our signatures come off the parrilla: suckling lamb chops, premium beef entrecôte, grilled sea bream. Around them sit fresh salads, grilled starters and Mediterranean plates. See it all, with prices, on the menu.
Mallorcan wines
Mallorca makes wines of real character, and we pour a selection chosen to stand up to grilled meat and fish. A glass of island red with lamb off the fire, on a terrace above the Tramuntana, is the simplest argument for Mallorcan cooking we know.
Come and taste it — reserve a table, plan lunch with a view or a romantic dinner at sunset.
